Final post of 2012.

 Well this will be officially my last post of 2012. I will post a couple of my favorites of 2012. But first here was a weekend project scored for a great price.

 So the candles and candle holders we got from out friend who didn't want them anymore. The mirror we found at Target and it had some glue stuck on the mirror itself. Melissa asked for a discount because it was the last one and potentially ruined. Well Target being as cool as they are, did it. They gave us 15% off. Hey I'll take it. The mirror was $30 so $25 and change that's a deal. We brought it home and began to clean it up. We took a razor blade scraped off all the glue, cleaned the mirror, and it was brand new. Installing was my job. It was some work because the mirror was heavy. It turned out to be 98% perfect when I was done. Ha ha.

 Now here comes a look back at of 2012.

1. Here are a couple pictures that are my favorite for 2012.

 Thirteen for good measure, and for 2013. Yes the SR-71 Blackbird is posted twice but it's my favorite airplane.

 Well I don't really have a list of my favorites, so I will just write about whatever I want to. We went to the free museum day. We went to the Museum of Glass, and the Museum of Flight. Those were really cool to see even if we were disappointed by MOG. We went on the Seattle Great Wheel. That was an adventure. We went to see the Gum wall in Seattle. That was interesting. Basically what I'm reflecting on, is we had an amazing 2012. We tried new things, and new places. I cannot wait to start 2013 with the same ambition we did this year. I want to go to more museums, more beach days on sunny days. More ice cream, just more of everything!

 I hope you had a good 2012. Well it looks like we did. Here's to 2013.

Make someones day.

 Yesterday my day was made with a simple Christmas card. That's all it took to feel like I was important enough to be thought about. Now Melissa, is the most important thing I have in my life. She always makes me feel like I am the most important person to her. And that I matter. So it's not like I don't get this feeling, but it's nice to have someone outside of your normal life recognize you.

Yes it's blurry. I took this when I opened it. It's the moment that matters.

My house decoration explosion o-rama.

 Did you like the catchy title? Well I did. I think I'm going to go ahead an keep it that way. So this will be a picture tour of my house filled with Christmas decoration cheer. Last years fun right this way. You might have seen a couple of these pictures already but as a whole, this will be the house decoration showcase.

Weekend review 12-15-12/12-16-12.

 Well here it is again, the weekend review. Wow this is two weeks in a row. I must have had stuff to do. So Saturday, Melissa got her hair cut. And we ran a few errands. After the errands we went to our friends house to decorate for her while she was out of town. Now this isn't anything elaborate, but everyone needs some holiday cheer.

First the tree. Amazingly enough this has 25 feet of lights on it. Ha ha.

 Like I said this isn't anything spectacular but it is some Christmas cheer. After our friends house went to go see a neighborhood light show, then off to dinner. After dinner we went to Flirt Frozen Yogurt.

Eggnog flavored frozen yogurt with Reese's cups. 

 We got home and had a movie night, and relaxed.

 Sunday we did our normal house chores. Sunday night we wrapped the last of our presents. But then we had some fun. Well everyone should remember National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase. Well I have always wanted the moose mugs they drink the eggnog out of.

 I ordered this from here. It's only a shot glass but this is amazing! Well we got an outfit for the cats last year. This year we found another outfit for them. So now both of them have one. Ha ha.

 Ha ha. Needless to say they both hated it but, they looked cute. Well that was our weekend. I hope you had a good one too. Till next time.

Neighbor Christmas gift ideas.

 Well every year we try and give the only house of neighbors that talk to us our neighbors a little gift. It's nothing big but it just says hey thanks for talking to us. This is Melissa's idea, and she pulled it off great.

Step one. Find a witty Christmas saying.

 Step two. Find some whisks, and fill with it good treats.

 Step three. The completed neighbor gift.

 Now Melissa is a professional, or at least should be. Your final product may differ from the picture above. I hope you try something like this for your neighbors, you never know they might end up being friends, or at least keep an eye on your house when you out of town. Till next time.

 So as you know we have a tradition now of an advent calendar. Well it was my day on the 14th. Look at what I got:

Weekend review 12-8-12/12-9-12.

 Well I haven't had one of these weekend reviews in awhile. Well here to make up for some lost time. A weekend review. Yay! so Friday night we got to be treated to a hail storm. Yay!

Makes for a good picture though. 

 So that was our Friday night. Saturday, we went to check out our friends new house. Then we went out to dinner. No pictures, but damn good food at Cristiano's. If you ever have a chance, definitely check out Cristiano's. Everything there is amazing. Saturday night we got to have a treat.

 Hot cocoa, with Pinnacle marshmallow vodka. Damn that was good. I can actually see us going and buying a full size bottle. Yay. OK, OK, I know the "yays" are getting old. I will stop saying typing it. Yay! Then Sunday we did some Craigslist selling.

 This is me when I was getting bored waiting for an hour! to make 100 bucks. I would sit somewhere again for an hour for a 100 bucks. I won't even try and lie.
