Weekend Review 8-25-12 / 8-26-12.

 So once again it is time for the weekend review. On Saturday we went to Half Priced Books. I was on the hunt for some Pink Floyd CD's, or some vinyl. Well I guess Pink Floyd is popular or something (being sarcastic) because they had nothing. Not even some off CD no one ever heard of. Oh well I found some good stuff anyways. See below for the treasures of my hunt.

 Yes I know what you are thinking. Ben, why in the hell did you buy Prince - Batdance? I will tell you it's because I loved the Tim Burton directed Batman scene with Jack Nicholson as the Joker in the parade throwing out the money.

Die Hard 2 on Laserdisc! 

Superman The Movie with Christopher Reeve, on Laserdisc.

  Now I don't own a Laserdisc player yet, but I have always wanted and loved Laserdiscs. It's a piece of history for movies. I just couldn't pass them up. My goal is to display these as art. I need to find and buy Terminator 2. It has an endoskeleton in flames, that would be cool to display.

 Next we went to the Mukilteo Lighthouse Park. It was a nice day at 72 degrees with a nice breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better weather. We got to go in the lighthouse.

 Then we had to get ice cream.

I do have to say I am proud of this picture I took.

 Well that was our weekend. We had a blast, and I can't wait to see what we do next weekend. Till next time.

Wedding Rings.

 I recently was looking for pictures that we took of our wedding rings. So I thought I would share them with you.

Seattle Heat Wave.

 Well it doesn't happen all the time but, we do get into the 90's. Today is one of those days. On my way to work my car's temperature display said this:

 I can't believe at 1:30 pm it is 95 degrees. And supposedly the "peak" is at 5 pm. Our weather forecasters said that today the 16th, it was supposed to be 92, and tomorrow the 17th was supposed to be 96. Now if it's 95 now! Holy shit will it be hot tomorrow. I am for sure not looking forward to this at all. I need 75 degrees with a breeze or I'm out. I can't deal with the heat. I will post again tomorrow. Till next time.

Weekend Review 8-11-12 / 8-12-12

 So this weekend was the Perseid Meteor Shower. Of course I had to try and take some pictures of it. Well I got pictures, but not pictures of the meteors them self. Every time I tried to take a picture, the meteor would happen before or after the camera finished taking the picture. So below is the pictures that did turn out. These pictures are highly tweaked to show blurry stars. Maybe next time I can try again.

 Sunday we felt like we needed a nice treat to cool us down. Enter Dairy Queen.
