Weekend review for 1/23 - 24/16.

Friday night we had some McDonalds for dinner and the order got messed up. I hate when that happens. You look forward to what you ordered and then it's wrong. So after dinner we watched some shows and we went to bed.

Saturday, we had some errands to run to finish getting the car ready for Melissa's mom to use. I had to go get a car wash and an oil change. So after that, I met Melissa at her moms house. We showed her the car and got to get comfortable with it. After that it was time for amazing PF Changs for lunch. We ordered the lettuce wraps, 2 orders of Mongolian beef, white rice, sweet and sour chicken and some pork chow mein. The food was amazing. We all ate way too much, but it was worth it. After we had our full, it was time for some better than Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. It was so amazing. I asked how much a full cake was and they said it would be $70. Well you know what, I honestly would consider doing that. Ha ha. After lunch Melissa's mom went home and Melissa and I went to go see The 5th Wave with Chlöe Grace Moretz. It wasn't a bad movie, but it needed a little more. Like the premise is "waves" of alien invasion. They explained them okay, but I wanted more explanation of them. It could have lead to a sequel too, but it left too many plot holes. I'm glad we got an amazing date together though. We got home and Melissa made some awesome egg muffins for dinner. We watched some shows then headed upstairs and watched Chelsea Handler on Netflix. It wasn't too bad, it was kinda slow and I guess it's a series.

Sunday we had hella shit to do. We have Melissa's mom coming over on Friday to help Melissa with her dental appointment and our house was clean, but it needed to cleaned more. Like the shower and all that. So we cleaned all the sinks, counters, showers and mirrors. Then we did our regular house work. It was a crazy ass day. After that we had some lunch. Melissa made some nuggets, Mac and cheese and some cottage cheese. Damn, I was getting spoiled this weekend. Ha ha. I watched the games and I was very disappointed in the Bronco Patriot game. The Broncos won by two points. The Panther and Cardinal game was crazy. It was 54 to 18 Panthers. So Super Bowl 50 is Broncos against Panthers. It's going to be a crazy game. Till next time.

Memories.

I forgot what day it was, but I ran into my cousin that I hadn't seen in close to 10 years while I was at work. We were talking about how things were going and how life has been in the years since we seen eachother. She was telling me about her dad and that he wasn't doing very well and that I should stop by and see him. Cut to like a month or so later. I heard from my cousin her dad had passed. I texted her on Sunday to give her my condolences. Monday she texted me and said when the funeral was going to be. So I asked my boss of it was okay to at least pop my head in real quick and let them see me. He said it was okay. Yesterday on my way to work I stopped by the funeral home. This is a place I had been to numerous times before. The last time I was at a funeral it was for Melissa's grandpa who I now called grandpa myself since I didn't have any grandpas left of my own. I was a pall bearer for him and it was a very big honor. That day was very tough and I don't know how Melissa and I made it through. So back to yesterday, I hadn't seen these people in years. I had seen one cousin during that summer cause she was hanging out with my aunt, but the other one it had been years. Everyone grows and matures and it was weird cause they did look older, but still the same. I know I look way different, but similar in some ways. It was so awkward at times and emotions were rushing over me. It brought up old bad memories of when I had to do that for my mom and all the family drama that came with it. I tried to give my cousins comfort in anyway I could. This was their last parent. I feel like my dad has been dead for years, but unfortunately he's still alive, but for them this was it. I saw them fill out all the paperwork and it sounds like my sister had done all that cause I don't remember doing any of that. They have a long road ahead of them for the executor of the estate and all that. I walked into the viewing room, but I couldn't get very close to the casket. We purposely chose a closed casket so we didn't have to see my mom like that. One of the cousins said I remember how you were during your moms funeral and now it makes sense why you were acting the way you were. I said yeah because it was such a messed up day and we didn't want to be there and people were trying to tell us what to do. And at the arrangement meeting the people were making familial funeral jokes about getting a discount next time. That was highly inappropriate and it pissed me off so bad. Then a little while later we were talking to my aunt about something and she brought up being owed for the funeral. It's like wow that's amazing. Needless to say the whole situation was all sorts of fucked up. I don't ever think about this stuff and when it thrown in my face it's hard for me to deal with it. A lot of people would say that's the wrong way of going about it, but I'm a dweller and if I dwell too long it starts getting bad. This post was basically a ramble post, but somewhat therapeutic so that's it.

Weekend review for 1/14 - 15/16.

Friday night, still feeling like shit. I stopped by McDonalds for dinner and got Hotel Transylvania 2 for our movie. We had our food and watched our movie and we went to bed.

Saturday was a very busy day. I had to get my car ready to be borrowed by Melissa's mom. It has been sitting for almost four months and I knew the battery was going to be problems. So I pushed the car out of the garage next to the Jeep to jump start it. I got everything disconnected and cables hooked up. The battery was a no go. I had to put everything back together on the Jeep and lock up the car. We ran up to Oriellys to get a new battery, but it was time for my dentist appointment. So we drove there and it was time for my permanent crowns. Well I guess there was millimeters edge under one corner of the back one so they couldn't use it. So the front one got adjusted and fitted. The front one worked perfectly. They had no choice to use the back one as a temporary so they could order a new one. They adjusted the tooth and sat the crown. I was given shots in my gums for the numbing. After it was all over we ran home and I finished working on the car. I had to remember how to remove and install a battery. I got it all hooked up and everything put back in its place. The car fired right up. Now it was time to take to Les Schwab to fix the broken shock. We dropped it off and went home. We finally got to relax a little. We watched some shows and we were both trying to recover. After awhile they called and said the car was ready. We headed down there to pay and then we left. I headed to Ajs to pick up some dinner for later. We watched some more shows. Saturday night we streamed a movie and went to bed.

Sunday was the playoffs game with the Seahawks and the Panthers. I was trying to hurry up and clean so I could watch the game. The Panthers scored a touchdown and an extra point in 2 and a half minutes. Damn!! By halftime the Panthers were up 31 to zero. Damn!! It was an interesting game. The Seahawks did come back, but couldn't pull it off. So the Seahawks are out of super bowl running. Next up was the Broncos and the Steelers. I was rooting for the Steelers and they lost. Damn. So now I'm going to root for the Panthers against the Broncos. Sunday night we watched some more shows and we relaxed. Till next time.

Weekend review for 1/9 - 10/16.

So normally I go into our Friday night and then move forward. This weekend, I have no clue what hit us. Saturday I was feeling like shit, eat worse then I ever have. We still did a couple errands and I don't see how we did. All I wanted to do was sleep. We got home and I laid on the couch and I was so cold and had shivers.  I don't even know how long I laid on the couch. We had leftovers from IHOP I didn't even eat. We had a hotdog from Costco for dinner. I don't even remember if we watched a movie or not. Sunday I woke up and I felt even worse. I could barley even get out of bed. I made it downstairs and laid on the couch again. I couldn't get warm or comfortable. It was so bad we didn't even clean the house. Melissa did the laundry and I laid on the couch. Monday came and I called off. I was still feeling like shit. Melissa started feeling it too. We laid in bed and was trying to stay up on medicine. Monday I don't even know what else I did. Tuesday I called off again. I was feeling a little better, but for from 100 percent. Wednesday I had to go back to work. It was a very, very long day. I don't know how I got through it. This weekend review is late, but better than never.

Happy New Year, weekend review. Bye 2015.

Thursday night, I got to get off work a little early. I got home and we had a taco bar. Meaning we had all the fixings and we could pick all of them we wanted to. Melissa got a rice cooker and she tried it for the taco bar. It was amazing, it was so soft and fluffy. We stayed up till midnight and watched some fireworks. We went inside and we started watching Making A Murderer on Netflix. It was very, very interesting. I can't believe, that kind of injustice is still happening. We both were getting tired and I started falling asleep, so we went to bed.

Friday, I had the day off. So we decided it was time to go shopping for some clearance Christmas stuff. We went to Target first and we got Starbucks while we were there. We walked around and perused the merchandise. I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for, but I knew I wanted some World Of Nintendo figures. We got back there and they were basically sold out. It's weird when you go somewhere with money and there's nothing for you to buy. I was looking at Bluetooth keyboards for the Hp Mini (that I haven't talked about in forever, but we have been using it to stream movies and it's been amazing.) they didn't have anything that appealed to me. On we went, we got to the Christmas section and we found a couple things. I needed a new ornament storage tote for our Starbucks ornaments, but they didn't have any with the card pieces inside. Like legit, they had the totes, but not the cardboard inserts. Off to Walmart we went. I found some totes and they were expensive, but they had all sorts of small compartments. We found some other stuff and now it was time for electronics. I was looking at the keyboards, again they had nothing I wanted. I looked at some games for the Ds, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 and One and they had nothing I wanted at a good price. It was time to head to GameStop. Now in the days leading up to Friday, I had been perusing their website. I found quite a few things I wanted for good prices, but when we got to the store, nothing. The had Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 for the Xbox One, for $45 and they had Lego Jurassic World for the Wii U for $35so I grabbed them and was good to go. They had this challenge coin for COD BO3, but it was for helping veterans getting back to work. I bought that too.
We were starving by then so we got some McDonalds and headed home.

After we ate, I fired up COD and was going to kick some ass. That was until I had to install the game to the hard drive, then download the 4 gig single player campaign. I decided to try out the Blu-ray player, you have to download the Blu-ray player app, before you can watch any movie, let alone a Blu-ray. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, but damn. The whole reason for the Xbox One and PS4 edition COD BO3 is for the single player campaign. The 360 and PS3 edition, do not have single player. Why should I had to download the single player campaign? Why isn't it on the Blu-ray disc that can hold 25 to 50 gigs? I thought after 50 percent install on the hard drive you could play? Nope, it's after 80 percent. and the download queue only allows single downloads at once. Even iTunes allows multiple at once. It doesn't go very fast for the other downloads, but at least it's better than a single download at once. Side rant over. After awhile it was finally time to start playing. I started getting used to the controls and getting used to the new game. It was a lot of fun. After awhile, we decided to play Jurassic World. That was a lot of fun too. We did run into a couple weird issues though. You have to either use the Wii-mote and nun chuck or the pro controller, which is fine, but if you use the Wii-mote and nun chuck, the buttons on the screen don't match the controller. For instance, they are asking you to push Y, but there isn't a Y on the nun chuck so it was a little hard at first. After we played for a little longer, we watched some shows and had dinner. We watched a little more of the Making A Murderer show and went to bed.

Saturday, I had a dentist appointment for my temp crown filling. All this makes no sense to me. So you get a root canal and then a filling. If you have cavities, you get a filling. Can 't they make it be more specific like cavity filling or whatever? After the dentist, we got home and we watched some shows for a little bit, then I played some more COD. We had some lunch and played some more Jurassic Park and then we started un-decorating the house from Christmas. Luckily, Melissa had already done more than half of it so we only really had just the bins, tree and the outside to do. We got done with all of the inside stuff and just the outside was left and I would do that Sunday. At night, I made some pizzas and we watched some shows.

Sunday, we woke up and had our coffee. I got dressed and started tackling the outside decorations. After I was done, I came inside and did the regular house stuff. I had to wash a few windows cause of the suction cups. We finished up and we watched some shows. I played some more COD and some Battlefront. Melissa made some amazing stuffed peppers for dinner. We watched some shows and Melissa went to bed. I watched Mission Impossible Rogue Nation and went to bed.

So we say goodbye to 2015 and hello 2016. I don't blog like I have in the past anymore. I don't have my top 15 for 2015, but I do have my top nine from Instagram. I didn't make any resolutions, but I know I want to work on some things.

This was one of the first pictures I took in 2016.
I know I want to take more pictures, play more games and actually build my Raspberry Pi. I know 2016 will be a good year even though it will be busy. We have to finish all of dentist stuff, work on our vision appointments and then start medical stuff. It will be extremely expensive, but we need to take care of ourselves. I want to take one week at a time and go from there. So 2015 is now the past and 2016 is the future. Till next time.
