Happy New Year, weekend review. Bye 2015.

Thursday night, I got to get off work a little early. I got home and we had a taco bar. Meaning we had all the fixings and we could pick all of them we wanted to. Melissa got a rice cooker and she tried it for the taco bar. It was amazing, it was so soft and fluffy. We stayed up till midnight and watched some fireworks. We went inside and we started watching Making A Murderer on Netflix. It was very, very interesting. I can't believe, that kind of injustice is still happening. We both were getting tired and I started falling asleep, so we went to bed.

Friday, I had the day off. So we decided it was time to go shopping for some clearance Christmas stuff. We went to Target first and we got Starbucks while we were there. We walked around and perused the merchandise. I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for, but I knew I wanted some World Of Nintendo figures. We got back there and they were basically sold out. It's weird when you go somewhere with money and there's nothing for you to buy. I was looking at Bluetooth keyboards for the Hp Mini (that I haven't talked about in forever, but we have been using it to stream movies and it's been amazing.) they didn't have anything that appealed to me. On we went, we got to the Christmas section and we found a couple things. I needed a new ornament storage tote for our Starbucks ornaments, but they didn't have any with the card pieces inside. Like legit, they had the totes, but not the cardboard inserts. Off to Walmart we went. I found some totes and they were expensive, but they had all sorts of small compartments. We found some other stuff and now it was time for electronics. I was looking at the keyboards, again they had nothing I wanted. I looked at some games for the Ds, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360 and One and they had nothing I wanted at a good price. It was time to head to GameStop. Now in the days leading up to Friday, I had been perusing their website. I found quite a few things I wanted for good prices, but when we got to the store, nothing. The had Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 for the Xbox One, for $45 and they had Lego Jurassic World for the Wii U for $35so I grabbed them and was good to go. They had this challenge coin for COD BO3, but it was for helping veterans getting back to work. I bought that too.
We were starving by then so we got some McDonalds and headed home.

After we ate, I fired up COD and was going to kick some ass. That was until I had to install the game to the hard drive, then download the 4 gig single player campaign. I decided to try out the Blu-ray player, you have to download the Blu-ray player app, before you can watch any movie, let alone a Blu-ray. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, but damn. The whole reason for the Xbox One and PS4 edition COD BO3 is for the single player campaign. The 360 and PS3 edition, do not have single player. Why should I had to download the single player campaign? Why isn't it on the Blu-ray disc that can hold 25 to 50 gigs? I thought after 50 percent install on the hard drive you could play? Nope, it's after 80 percent. and the download queue only allows single downloads at once. Even iTunes allows multiple at once. It doesn't go very fast for the other downloads, but at least it's better than a single download at once. Side rant over. After awhile it was finally time to start playing. I started getting used to the controls and getting used to the new game. It was a lot of fun. After awhile, we decided to play Jurassic World. That was a lot of fun too. We did run into a couple weird issues though. You have to either use the Wii-mote and nun chuck or the pro controller, which is fine, but if you use the Wii-mote and nun chuck, the buttons on the screen don't match the controller. For instance, they are asking you to push Y, but there isn't a Y on the nun chuck so it was a little hard at first. After we played for a little longer, we watched some shows and had dinner. We watched a little more of the Making A Murderer show and went to bed.

Saturday, I had a dentist appointment for my temp crown filling. All this makes no sense to me. So you get a root canal and then a filling. If you have cavities, you get a filling. Can 't they make it be more specific like cavity filling or whatever? After the dentist, we got home and we watched some shows for a little bit, then I played some more COD. We had some lunch and played some more Jurassic Park and then we started un-decorating the house from Christmas. Luckily, Melissa had already done more than half of it so we only really had just the bins, tree and the outside to do. We got done with all of the inside stuff and just the outside was left and I would do that Sunday. At night, I made some pizzas and we watched some shows.

Sunday, we woke up and had our coffee. I got dressed and started tackling the outside decorations. After I was done, I came inside and did the regular house stuff. I had to wash a few windows cause of the suction cups. We finished up and we watched some shows. I played some more COD and some Battlefront. Melissa made some amazing stuffed peppers for dinner. We watched some shows and Melissa went to bed. I watched Mission Impossible Rogue Nation and went to bed.

So we say goodbye to 2015 and hello 2016. I don't blog like I have in the past anymore. I don't have my top 15 for 2015, but I do have my top nine from Instagram. I didn't make any resolutions, but I know I want to work on some things.

This was one of the first pictures I took in 2016.
I know I want to take more pictures, play more games and actually build my Raspberry Pi. I know 2016 will be a good year even though it will be busy. We have to finish all of dentist stuff, work on our vision appointments and then start medical stuff. It will be extremely expensive, but we need to take care of ourselves. I want to take one week at a time and go from there. So 2015 is now the past and 2016 is the future. Till next time.
