Weekend review for 8/27 - 28/16.

Friday night, we had some dinner and headed upstairs and we finished Stranger Things on Netflix. All in all, it wasn't too bad. I didn't like the waning, but I know they left it open for another season. I'm wondering how they would even make another 8 episode season though. After that we went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and got ready to leave. We got gas and hit the tint shop again to have them fix the wrap job on the tail lights.

So they did a way better job then before and I really like it. So if we saw it before the darker film it would have been like oh shit look at that, but since we saw the dark first and now it's lighter, there's a difference to us even though it looks better.

While we were waiting for the wrap job, we ate at Bento teriyaki again and it was amazing again. We got the truck back and we headed out to Melissa's friends, friends party so Melissa could take pictures. She was done with that and we got our neice, stopped by the house and we all went to IHOP for dinner. IHOP was really good too. After dinner, we headed home and we watched Inside Out. After that it was time for bed. We laid her down and when she fell asleep, we watched some Walking Dead and went to sleep.

Sunday, our neice got picked up and we started our house stuff. I vaccumed and we did laundry. We watched some shows, we made some good dinner and watched more shows. We watched Fear The Walking Dead and we went to bed. At least this episode wasn't just all about Nick, oh and why the fuck would you play the damn piano during the apocalypse!? I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Weekend review for 8/20 - 21/16.

Friday night, Melissa got home from grocery shopping and brought Taco Bell hike for dinner. We had our dinner and watched the Netflix series Stranger Things. It's interesting, but kinda slow. Slow has been the theme for some of the shows we have been watching. The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead are hella slow. We watched an episode and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and got ready for our day. We had an appointment at United Tint & Customs for the truck. We wanted to get the front grill emblem covered, the rear emblem removed and the front windows tinted. We got to the place and we sat and waited. All of a sudden three cars filled with dudes start rolling up and I was like oh shit what's about to happen. They parked and I got out and it was the owner and workers. The owner came over and we started talking about what we wanted to do. So the front he said no problem and asked if we wanted matte finish on it. We said yes. We walked around back and I said I wanted the red gmc lettering removed and if you can't then I wanted it debadged. He said that he couldn't remove the red or the badge. I said well I was looking for chrome on chrome. He said how about we wrap it. He went to get some chrome vinyl and put it over the red gmc and it was it. That was what I was looking for. He said what else do you want to do. We said we eventually wanted to debadge the rest of the truck, halo lights for the headlights, led lights for the fog lights, smoke or paint the tail lights and runs and tires. He said about $500 just to bake the head lights open before even installing the halo lights. I said okay well that would have to wait. He said lets look at the tail lights. He brought out some smoked vinyl and put it on the tail light. It was so smooth and we said yup that's it. So we agreed on the grill, tail gate, windows and tail lights. They took the keys and pulled it in. Melissa and I went inside and sat down. We waited for a teriyaki place next door to open so we could have lunch. We had lunch and it was amazing. We finished and headed back to the shop. They finished and we were amazed.

So they said it will take a few days for the air bubbles and everything to calm down and we are like okay. So after the shop, we headed down to get some gas and hit Walmart. We got home and we started noticing the edges of the tai lights looked really bad and there was a piece of the film coming up.

And as you can see, the edges don't lol very good. So I will be going back to get it fixed. No one else is going to put up with a crappy job on their Escalade or Benz so why do I have to? We had to do the Sunday stuff Saturday cause we were busy on Sunday. We got the laundry and other house stuff done. We started binge watching The Walking Dead in Netflix and we just relaxed. After awhile, we started watching Stranger Things. We had our dinner and watched more shows. We headed upstairs and watched more Netflix and we went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and got ready to go to our great nephews birthday party. We picked up our neice and we went to the party. We got there and we relaxed. Our nephew was excited at everyone being there. We had our lunch and I went way overboard with calories and I was still coming down from the shock of gaining 1.2 pounds. I had all sorts of food and it felt like I was making up for lost time with my food obsession. Well this week I have kicked some ass for being working the range and not going over. I have cut my lunches down in calories so I'm good for dinner and al that. Sunday when we got home I had to mow the lawn so I got that done and we had some new light Mac and cheese dinner. It was super good. We watched some shows and we went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minutes.

Over the weekend, I got to play some A Link Between Worlds on the ds. I got to the thief lair where you have to rescue the girl and defeat the skeleton boss. So the first part is good. Hit him and get on the shield and hit him again. The hard part is the second part. I just start dying, but I got to the third part where his head starts spinning and I just get wasted. So I tried that like three times. I lost all the Rovio gear, I have no clue how to get it back and I still need to defeat this boss. I did get the master sword though.

I really like this game, but for me it's really hard. No Mans Sky, still looks really good to me and I would love to play it. It kinda reminds me of Far Cry Primal, which I still need to play again. I have so many games I need to finish. Wel that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 8/13 - 14/16.

Friday night, Melissa was over at a persons house helping make and finish some cups to be sold for Heather. I got home and I popped in Man Of Steel then I popped in Batman V Superman. I had some leftovers for dinner and I was chillin. When Melissa got home, we watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and had some breakfast. It was also weigh day and I lost 3 and a half pounds. I don't know how, but I'll take it. We got ready and we headed out to get a carwash for the truck and then headed to our friends house. We checked out a parking lot sale, but there were only like three booths. After that, we headed out to our friends house for a house warming party. We got there and we got to see their beautiful house. The have a rambler and this totally cemented the fact that we want to get a rambler. They had a really open kitchen and a good layout. They had some cool fixtures that I want to get for our bathroom. We had some good food and we spent some time with our friends. It was my cheat day so I wasn't gorging, but I had some food. I only went over like 400 calories and I even threw in some vegetables. After the house warming, we headed over to our other friends house for a get together. After a little back woods driving, we finally got there. Our friend did some landscaping in the last few weeks and it looked amazing. He had a pull paver patio with benches and a fire pit. The stone benches have led lights on the edge that show down to the patio. It was really cool. He also had a raw slice out of a tree as a bench. Bark edge out. It was really cool being there, but the undertone was uncomfortable just because Heather wasn't there. After we left we hit McDonald's for dinner. We watched some Walking Dead. Then we went to sleep.

Sunday, we woke up and had breakfast and then I started mowing the lawn. After the lawn I vaccumed. I got to play some A Link Between Worlds, but I just couldn't fight this end boss and kept dying. I lost all the Rovio tools I had so now I have no clue how to get those back and where I will start again. After that, we made dinner. We made this new dish and it was enchilada cups. The cups were made out of wonton wrappers. It was really damn good too. We watched some shows and we went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

So I got to play some more Red Dead Redemption and I passed a few more levels. I got to the level where you have to use the Gatling gun and protect the train. Damn! I couldn't even concentrate on what to do cause all the commotion. I'm trying to shoot the horses so they would fall and kill the riders, but that wasn't working. Then they started to board the train and all the sand bags were protecting them, not me. They started shooting the engine and I failed. Damn! I had to restart, but luckily not from the absolute beginning. After that one I was like, yeah let me go ahead and save and stop playing before I get real mad. I don't rage quit, but I start getting mad and starts playing like shit. So quit while you're ahead.

Red Dead Redemption was glitchy when I first played it and it still is. Oh nothing just a random dude floating in the air.

Melissa sent me a trailer for a video game called No Mans Sky. I watched it and was like dafuq! It looks super cool and I want it really bad. Your like Ben, what's the problem? I say, I don't have a PS4! I want to get one eventually. I wonder if they're going to do like Microsoft and come out with an "s" console. They did for the PS3 twice. The slim then the super slim, but we will see. And if they do, the regular ps4 will come down in price so it's a win win. Wel that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 8/6 - 7/16.

Friday night after work, we went to Taco Bell for dinner. This was my cheat day, they gave us extra food we didn't order, so I was like hell yeah. We got the new triple layer deluxe thing, frito burrito and a cheese roll. We were trying stay with in our calories and all that. Well they threw in a flatbread steak burrito too and a side of chicken. I was like okay yeah I got this and I ate it all. Altogether, I was only over by like 560 calories. That's actually not too bad all things considered. After dinner, we watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and had breakfast. After breakfast, it was time for my dentist appointment. After an hour of that, we got gas and went to bath and body works and jc penny to check out a sale they had for graphic tees. Well they did have the tees, but they didn't have the size I wanted to get. The only had regualr xl no xl tall. I need the tall because when it shrinks, it will fit like normal. So after that, we headed up to Walmart. I checked out their tees and found a sweet Biggie, 2 Pac and Eazy-E t shirt. They're skeletons, but it's awesome. Then I found a Marvel comic character line up. So all the characters are in it. I actually found Levis that fit! Holy shit, it's been I don't know how many years since I've been able to actually wear Levi's. It's so weird to me that I look back and I used to find wide leg pants and the "pipes" were so big it would cover my size 12 shoes. Baggies the better size 46 and 48 pants with shirts as big as I could get. Now I find a shirt that will shrink correctly to fit me, even though it's 3xlt, those are correct enough for what I want. Pants are 40x30 now and I'm still a tall big dude, but relaxed fit or loose fit work. I have a good pair of Old Navy jeans and they are 40x32 and they look good, but the legs don't look as good as they could. Now if I could find a good pair of jeans in 40x31, I would be set. After Walmart, we headed home and we relaxed. We had some lunch and we got some game time in. We watched some more shows had some dinner and went upstairs. We watched some Walking Dead and I got to use wifi to watch Netflix and we haven't done that in years. My wifi was so bad Netlfix wouldn't even load. I had run an ethernet cable from the office to the bedroom just to make it work. It did work, but it's a pain to have to do. After a couple episodes, we went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up had some breakfast and started our house stuff. I had to mow the lawn and I power edged everything. I figure if I stay up on it, it won't grow so bad. The weather was kinda cloudy too so I would get anymore sunburn. After the yard, I vaccumed and watched some shows. We both played some Animal Crossing on the 3ds. We made club sandwiches for dinner and watched some more shows. We had dessert and went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

So I'm still trying to preorder the classic mini NES and Amazon doesn't have it yet. I'm going to get one and my neice and I will play some Mario Brothers. So I've been playing Red Dead Redemption and it's been a lot of fun. I'm actually going faster this time around then I was last time I played. I'm not worrying about getting a 100% so like all the hunting and gathering stuff. I just finished the level where you have to float down the river and shoot everyone on the bank. The first time around, I was struggling with this one, but I got it in one time through. So I want to complete this game in the next few months and I think I can do it.

10 games for summer, is done and over with. I told you before I don't have time to complete two games let alone 10 for the summer. So the games I did finish for 10 games of summer was:

Tomb Raider, Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 and Rise Of The Tomb Raider. So that's not too bad for my list. But again that's why I'm going to focus on Red Dead Redemption and the other couple coming out at Redbox. I'm excited for COD and Battlefield. Battlefield especially. WWI in Battlefield specs is going to be amazing for the destruction and the mechanics. Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 7/30 - 31/16.

Friday night, we went to the Mountlake Terrace parade. I had t been there in like 13 years. We had fun sitting there and we had Costco pizza and hot dogs for dinner. We headed home after and watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday, was a day we both have not been looking forward to. Heather, Melissa's friend, passed away and Saturday was her funeral. Heather was a fighter and was very strong. There really is no words to describe these feelings that I had during the service. Heather will be missed. We wanted to feed our feelings so we went to Krispy Kreme for some doughnuts. We got Dick's Burgers for dinner and we ate. When we got home Melissa said I could watch Superman V Batman Dawn Of Justice. I got the ultimate edition and it was the extended version so it was 3 hours of amazement. This is the version that should have been in the movie theaters. There was a couple parts they cut out that should have been in it though. The part where Lois was in the dessert, the regular version shows Superman creating two sonic booms and then breaking through the ceiling. In the ultimate edition, no sonic booms, but he destroys a missile and a drone, then breaks through the ceiling. So when the lady is at the trial against Superman, she still says there were two booms from the sky and then people were dead (not a direct quote). So like I said the extended version there's no sonic booms. So for me, it's little stuff like that, but it doesn't ruin the movie. It was actually really amazing and I want to watch it again really soon. After the movie, we went upstairs and watched some shows and went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and had breakfast and then I started the yard work. After the yard work, I did the inside chores and then I got some game time. We watched some shows. For dinner, we made stuffed peppers, they were amazing. We are still on track for eating healthier and tracking all of our calories. Friday night and Saturday I completely went over on calories, but I still lost 1.6 pounds. So something is working. People at work have started noticing and saying stuff, but me I'm like, are they just saying that cause I talk about it or do they really see something? Either way this is for me first and foremost and second is for Melissa. Well I hope it had a good weekend, till next time.

 Heather you will be missed.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, I got to play some Red Dead Redemption and I played a level of The Legend Of Zelda A Link Between Worlds. Side note, I think I have been putting to the past instead of between worlds. I haven't touched past in a long time, I probably even forgot where I'm at cause it's been so long. I'm getting through a couple missions at a time for Red Dead. The problem is, sometimes the missions are really long and after them, I look for all the loot that's dropped. I'm glad there's fast travel though. I'm still upset that my old game save is essentially gone. On between worlds, I was playing Heras Tower and our internet dropped. I use a walk through when I get stuck, but I did the whole level by myself. That was amazing and it felt good. Of course after I finished the tower, our internet came back up. On Monday, Melissa went to the Comcast store and we finally got the ac router instead of the n router. There's finally a noticeable difference in the wifi at our house. We were getting 22 megabytes over wifi and yes I know some people are like holy shit, but sometimes that's just not good enough. So now it's about 44 megabytes, so that's good now, but I want to get a wifi extender because I know it would help. The desktop computer is doing better too. That's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 7/23 - 24/16.

Friday, we watched some shows and had some dinner. We went upstairs and watched some more shows and then went to bed.

Saturday, we got up and it was time for us to tackle our yard projects we hadn't in awhile. We had some breakfast and headed out. We went over to Melissa's friends house to pick up some t shirts to sell for them. After her house, we went to Home Depot to pick up some bark, rock edgers and some garden bricks. Now writing it out like that, it seems like no problem. Each bag of bark had to be at least 50 pounds, each garden brick has to be like 5 pounds. We got 10 bags of bark, 19 bricks and 24 edgers. The truck was definitely sagging when we were done loading it. We left there and headed to McDonald's for lunch and went home. We had our lunch and then it was time to unload the truck.

I don't know how many times I actually touched each bag or rock, but damn. Melissa started on the first tree and she was covered in ants. They came out of nowhere.

She was getting bit and everything. When she was done, it looked amazing.

Now I know our grass looks like shit, but the trees and places we put the bark look really good. We finally finished after I don't know even know how many hours and we were both exhausted. We got to relax and we watched some shows. For dinner we had some sandwiches and relaxed some more. We headed upstairs and we watched some more shows and went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and had breakfast and it was time to start the regular Sunday stuff. I mowed the lawn and vacuumed. We had some lunch then we started working on the backyard. I measured it out and it should have been 17 bricks long and 2 bricks deep. So we ended up taking more grass away so it was actually 3 bricks deep including the edge of the outer one. So now we start laying out the other side and of course now we're short one brick right? Nope, now we're off by two? How does that work? So we measured like four times and we came up with two would fit at the end. Cut to Monday, yup they don't fit at all. What the fuck, I hate shit like that. So after all that shit we went inside and watched some shows. We made an amazing dinner and we went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, I downloaded Pokemon go to see what is all about. So I never went out an walked, I just sat around and caught a few. I started working on trying to build them up and evolve them. No remember, this is the first Pokemon game I have ever played and I don't know what all to do. So the little information I got, I feel like it's working out okay. I got a couple rats, worms and birds. I upgraded the rat and the work. Now it's hard trying to catch those ones to get more stuff to upgrade them more. I was mad cause I upgraded a bird then I caught one that was higher then mine, what the hell? So I finally got to a stop thing and I was hoping for more balls, but that didn't happen, I got three balls. Mine keeps not wanting to connect and mine freaked out when I caught something and it disappeared, damn. I know it's a new game, but damn.

I have been playing more Red Dead and I'm having fun. I even got an hour in last night. I'm still not very far, but I'm making good progress. I'm still mad about losing all my other game progress. I am still waiting for 7 Days To Die to be at Redbox. I found another game that looks pretty cool it's called Recore for the Xbox One. It's supposed to have ever changing environments due to the changing weather and sand storms. I think it's definitely a rent and maybe a buy. All this boils down to a lot of new games coming out for a lot of time consumption. Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Monday, July 18, 2016

Weekend review for 7/16 - 17/16.

Friday night, Melissa and I made chicken Cesar salad for dinner. It was so good, I actually want more salad now. After that, we both got some game time in. I played some Red Dead and Melissa played some Animal Crossing on the ds. After that we went upstairs and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and had a quick breakfast and we worked on the truck for a little bit then went to a carwash. We vaccumed out the truck and got it looking good. After all that, we headed out to Target and found some house stuff we have been looking for. I got a new Fitbit and I am so excited for. I got the Alta, after seeing Melissa's I knew that's the one I wanted. After Target we headed to Outback for lunch. We got there and the place looked really good. We got inside and we noticed that they didn't have the cool menu they were showing on commercials. So we asked about it and they said it's because they didn't want to overwhelm the new cooks. Weird, so we ordered other stuff and the food was good, but we both were kinda like disappointed. After Outback, we went to Fred Meyer to find some vitamins we were out of. They didn't have what we were looking for so we left. We headed home and we set up our new organizers we picked up. So I broke down and tried the new Pokemon go app. I tried it for a little bit and I could see how people would want to play for a long time. My main thing is, it uses so much data and battery. After a little bit, we made our leftovers for dinner and watched some shows. We headed upstairs and we watched a few episodes of The Walking Dead and went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and had some breeds st and started our house chores. I started mowing the lawn and Melissa worked in the yard raking up some moss we had. Exciting I know, after all of that we relaxed and watched some shows.  We made a new dinner for us. We made our homemade moons over my hammy. It was not very healthy, but it was mighty tasty. After dinner we watched some more shows and had our delicious dessert, it was a Girl Scout cookie cake type thing. It was damn good too. I went over, but it was okay. That's what I got for now, I hope you had a good weekend. Till next time.

Video game minute.

So I haven't written a minute in a minute, ha ha. But seriously, I haven't been playing a lot of games or have had anything to talk about. That has all changed now that Red Dead Redemption is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One. So I read that and I was eagerly waiting for the weekend to try it. I fire up the Xbox and pop in my disc and it says install, I go to install and it says this game is not playable. I'm like what the fuck, really! I try it again and again same thing. I try to read on line and everyone's like this is the best thing ever. I turn off my Xbox and restart it, nothing, same thing. I wonder if it's my gold experied or something and nope. I take the disc out, restart the Xbox and pop in the disc, finally it works. This is the second time this has happened. I have my Xbox set to do updates by itself so I don't understand what the problem is. This happened with Portal 2 as well. At least it worked. So the only other bad thing is, my game save isn't there, so I have to start over from scratch. That's okay though so I can relearn the game and not have to worry about one hundred percent in the game.

10 games for summer seems to be a dead thing with me. I do not have time to give all these games. I want to focus on Red Dead and maybe rent 7 Days To Die when it comes out on Redbox. In other gaming news, Nintendo is releasing a mini classic Nintendo system in November. It is $60 and it has 40 preloaded games on it. It is styled exactly like the classic Nintendo everyone knows and loves. It has hdmi out and the controller ports are the same ones for the Wii and Wii U nun chucks and classic controllers. They say that you can plug one of these new controller into a Wii U and play virtual console games with it. The only thing that seems to be up the air right now is the ac adapter. Some sites say it's USB and some say it's ac adapter and some said there's no ac adapter included. Obviously they will tell what it comes with very soon, but as of Thursday there's no definite answer. There is also no preorder available on Amazon for it yet. I think I want to preorder it or go the morning of and get it. Melissa is even on board with it. I also found a new Raspberry Pi OS, it's called Recalbox and it has emulation station on it but not Retropie front end. I have to do some more research on it. That's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 7/9 - 10/16.

So on Friday night, it was Foreigner concert time!! We headed up to the Tulalip Resort Casino and we had dinner at the Cedars Creek restaurant. I had the turkey club sandwich and holy shit was it good! Melissa had the fish and chips and she loved hers.

It was a cheat day, but I didn't eat all my fries or all of my bread so it kind of evened out. After dinner, we headed towards the concert area. We were searched and carded and we headed in. Tulalip does a lot of giveaways for card members so we got our tote bag, we bought some water and found our seat. They gave us a seating chart and at first I was like uh oh, but Goddamn, these were amazing seats. We sat down and waited for the show to start. After the tribe did their song, they had a singer perform. Then it was time for Foreigner. I took so many videos and pictures my phone actually ran out of space. That's a damn fail, why does apple still make 16 gig iPhones, but then jump up to 64 gigs? Why don't they start at 32 for the base model? It's actually really annoying. So I took so many videos I can't post them all, but it was amazing. At one point the singer got down off of the stage and walked in the crowd. He started walking towards our row and actually walked across our chairs.

That was so cool. After the amazing show we went home and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and had some breakfast. After that, we headed out to get some gas, we went to the farmers market, Junk In The Trunk and then we went to Winco. I scored a really good condition Pink Floyd Darkside Of The Moon record. Melissa did say I should take a picture of the record, but I was too busy playing Read Dead Redemption on the Xbox One, my bad. I also found an air pump for all the many blow up toys we have now for our niece. Melissa got some fresh cut flowers and we were done. I won't bore you with grocery shopping, we went to Taco Bell for lunch, we got home unloaded the truck and ate lunch. After lunch I was like what should I do? Should I play some games? Why yes, yes I should. So after rebooting and reinstalling Red Dead, it finally installed and I was off and playing. This is the second time that I have had this much trouble installing a backwards compatible game on the One. We watched some shows and relaxed. We had leftovers for dinner and we watched more shows. We went upstairs and we watched The Walking Dead episode one. Then we watched Orange Is The New Black and we went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and had breakfast and then started house stuff. After the house stuff, I mowed the lawn, then it was time to make some breakfast sandwiches. So I thought I was being smart and I put aluminum foil under the cooker so it wouldn't be as messy, but for whatever reason, the cooker burnt out in the middle off cooking a sandwich. I had to run up to the state and buy a new one, damn. That's a shitty day right there. After the sandwiches, I got the vegetables ready for the week for our lunches and for dinner. We started making dinner. After dinner we watched some shows and went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Weekend review for 7/2, 3 - 4/16.

Three day weekend has come to a conclusion. Friday I got to leave work from a closer location so I wasn't stuck in holiday travel traffic. Friday night we watched some shows and we went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and had some breakfast. After that, we got Melissa's car ready for an oil change and emissions. Her car has been sitting for awhile now. I hooked up the battery and it started right up. We moved the other car out of the way and we were on our way. We got to the oil change and we had forgotten the coupon for it and the emissions paper. Damn, what a way to start the day, anyways we got the car done and the guy hooked us up with a discount. After that, we headed to emissions. I have been stressed out so bad over it passing or not. So her check engine light came on a few months ago. We checked the code and it was for the coolant sensor. Okay, fine, we got the part and it was time for me to do it. Got my tools out and I didn't have the correct socket. So I now had to drive the car I was working on that needed to be cold, awesome. I got the socket and now I had to let it cool down. I finally got to work on it. I dropped the tools, I dropped the socket. I thought I had to take the lower engine cover off, al of this. Finally got the old sensor out and more fluid poured out then I thought would have. Got the new one in and the check engine light never went off, damn! So now it's  Google time, we found you have to in hook the battery, okay, I did, no good, still on. I had to unhook it again and let it sit longer. Well it worked and the light went out. After the oil change we went to the emissions test and after a little bit, it passed. I was so relieved and the stress went away. Now it was time for lunch. We went to Ajs Burgers and it was amazing. We got home ate some lunch and watched some shows. Later, we streamed some movies and went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and it was time to start some house work. I mowed the lawn and power edged. My Fitbit said that I was active for 76 minutes. Holy shit that's a long time. After working my ass off, I got to order Batman bs Superman cause we had a Barnes And Noble credit. That was sweet and I got a Dobby Funko pop. So 4 bucks for a pop and a movie, hell yeah. I was trying to fix one of our garage door openers and that was a no go, it was legit broken. I had to order a new one from Amazon. I got to move my game saves and ROMs from my Nook to a jump drive for my Ouya. I finally got to install my Bluetooth adapter on the laptop and try the Wii U pro controller and it didn't work. I have no clue what that's about, but whatever. I tried the pro controller on my Nook and it worked awesome. We watched some shows and then we made dinner. It was amazing, we made pulled bbq chicken burgers with corn on the cob and salad. Oh my god was it so good, we are definite making that again. It was only 1000 calories which is what I'm shooting for at dinner and lunches. We went upstairs, watched some more shows and went to bed.

Monday was the fourth so we went to Walmart and grabbed some stuff then we went to see The Purge 3. It was really good. 1 and 2 were more detailed and a little better, but 3 held its own. I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out. After the movie we headed to our friends house for their party. I told Melissa that this was my chest day and I was going to eat whatever I wanted and how much I wanted and she was like go for it. I had three burgers, three small pieces of cake and a cookie. I was so full and I didn't eat all of that in the same sitting, but man was I full. We hung out and it was nice relaxing. We didn't even have dinner cause we were both still so full. We got home and it was time for bed. I hope you had a good weekend. Till next time.

Weekend review for 6/25 - 26/16.

Friday night, I got home and Melissa got us some Burger King for dinner. We tried the new Cheetos mac and cheese bites. Completely unhealthy, but actually pretty fucking good. So our justification was not to eat all of them in one sitting. We have been really trying hard to change lifestyle habits and eating is huge for us. As I just said Burger King for dinner. Melissa's new Fitbit showed up and we got to setting it up. I got her old one and now we both have them. We watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and we got ready for our movie. We headed out to see Independence Day Resurgence. I knew that Will Smith was not going to be in it so I was ready for it. The movie actually did really good "paying respects" to Will Smiths character. The movie was really good. I didn't love it, but thinking about it now, it actually fits in really good for the first one. It was a really good sequel and I hope they make a third one as they lead on to. After the movie, we headed hole and waited for our neice to show up for a sleep over. When she got to the house we had lunch and then we headed out to the kids museum. We got there and just let the day happen. Our neice seemed like she was having a lot of fun. We got to this air system that blows scarfs out in different locations. She was extatic, she loved it. Screaming, yelling and running around everywhere. I couldn't even keep up with her wanting to chase scarfs. We went around to some different areas. All and all she had a blast. After we were all done, we headed to ice cream. We went to baskin Robbins, I hadn't been there in years. It was really good, but expensive. After that we went home and made some dinner. We started watching The Good Dinosaur and enjoyed dinner. After awhile, we headed upstairs and went to bed.

Sunday, we got up and we had some breakfast. Melissa got ready and her and out neice left. I started mowing the lawn and edging. After the lawn, I started the laundry and vaccuming. So on this Fitbit, I walked 11 thousand steps, five and half miles and got my 32 minutes of activity. That is amazing, that's more then I thought I would be getting. After all the work, Melissa came home with Denny's for dinner. We had dinner and we watched some shows and went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Weekend review for 6/18 - 19/16.

On Friday, Melissa ordered pizza for us for dinner. I got home and our friend was there eating dinner with Melissa. I got mine and we all had some dinner. After dinner, Melissa and our friend went to the movies to watch Conjuring 2, cause this guy right here was not having any of that. When they left, Captain America The Winter Soldier was on so I started watching that. After Captain America, I popped in Avengers Age Of Ultron. Melissa got home and I got to finish Avengers. After that we headed upstairs and watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday morning, we got up and got ready to go. I had my doctors appointment to go to. I went and got poked and prodded. After that we headed to the movie theater. We got our tickets and sat down for Finding Dory. After an emotional roller coaster, the movie was over and I composed myself and we left. It was a super good movie and it is a definitely a buy when it comes out. After the movie, we got some more movies from Redbox, got some lunch and we headed home. We got 10 Cloverfield Lane and Zootpia. We popped in Zootopia while we had dinner. It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't buy it. We watched a show then we headed upstairs and popped in Cloverfield. Still an amazing movie and I love John Goodman. He plays a really good psycho. I want to know how these tie in with eachother though.

Sunday, we woke up and we got to work on the house stuff. We got a notice from our hoa saying that we weren't compliant with their guidelines and our lawn. Basically they're saying we need I now every week instead of every other week like I had been doing. That's funny that you worry about our lawn when we got drug trafficking and forclosures, but that's none of our business. We finished the house stuff and we watched some shows. We played the ds for a little bit and relaxed. We made an Amazon dinner and then we went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Weekend review for 6/11 - 12/16.

Friday night, we ran up to Wendy's for dinner. It was damn good too. We rented 13 Hours from Redbox it was a really good movie. It makes you really think and feel horrible for our guys who are hated around the world and it's not their choice to be there. It's really fucked up and they were talking about two plus tours, damn! Great movie though, I think I would actually buy it. We watched a show then we went to bed.

Saturday, we had to go grocery shopping and run some errands. We went to Walmart and I was on the hunt for more World Of Nintendo figures, but I struck out. After Walmart, we headed down to get the truck gas and then get it washed and vacuumed. After the car wash, we headed down to Winco. We did our shopping and headed home. We unloaded the truck and we finally relaxed. We had a quick lunch and watched some shows. We had dinner later and we went upstairs and watched more shows then we went to bed.

Sunday, we woke up and it was time for some house work. I mowed the lawn and I power edged the stuff I left from last time. After I mowed I came inside and vacuumed. After house work we had some lunch and we watched some shows. I played some Animal Crossing on the ds for a little bit. We watched more shows then we made an amazing dinner. We finished out the night and we went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend and that's what I got for now, till next time.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, it was really hot so we had our ac going, but in doing so, I couldn't play any consoles because it would trip a breaker. I decided to forget the 10 games for summer right now and I played a dungeon level of The Legend Of Zelda A Link Between Worlds. Man I love that game, it reminds me of A Link To The Past as it should because it's a sequel, but I love the stylization of it. I want them to remake or make a sequel to The Minnish Cap. Oh my god it would be sweet. I would pay $65 for easily right now. Wii U or ds or even the Nx thing, I would buy it. I would like a remake or a remaster of the original Legend Of Zelda. How sweet would that be to have it look like A Link Between Worlds, even if it's the same missions. So back to my little time with A Link Between Worlds, I don't like the fact of losing your weapons if you die or that the jump on the wall thing uses magic. I feel like they have made those things cheaper, meaning like it shouldn't have those little things against you. There should be a banking type thing to pay a little bit for the equipment here and there. So I want to get some more time for this game over the weekend and maybe I can make this a 10 games for summer game?

10 games for summer 2016
 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 4/24/16.
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider 5/21/16
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker ❌
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal ❌
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City
12 Lego Avengers
13 The Legend Of Zelda A Link Between Worlds ❓

Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 6/4 - 5/16.

Friday night, we got our package from Comcast and it was our new dvr box for our bedroom. After dinner we headed upstairs and started the install process. Dunh, dunh, dunh. So I have to unplug the old box and plug in the new one. No problem there, next it's the power up process. I plug it in and turn on the tv, now you have to type in your phone number with a remote that's not programmed yet. You have 5 try's and after that, it gets locked. So between the remote, dvr and the wrong phone number I had 2 tries left and it finally worked. So we get to watch, record and  listen to pandora like we do downstairs. We can watch recorded shows upstairs and downstairs at the same time. We didn't try the same show at the same time, but that's not a big deal. After we installed the dvr we went downstairs and watched some more shows. We popped in Gods Of Egypt. It wasn't too bad, I liked Gerard Butler in it. I wish it would have been rated r, but that's okay. After that we went upstairs and went to bed.

Saturday, we woke up and we had some breakfast and we watched some shows. Before too long, it was Melissa's hair appointment. So I dropped her off and I went to Port Of Subs for lunch/dinner. I picked her up and then we went to 7/11 for some slurpees and some candy. We got home and we relaxed. Later that night we watched Pride And Prejudice And Zombies, eh, it wasn't good at all. It was cool when they were fighting, but all the other shit was dumb. I stopped it early and we just headed upstairs and watched shows.

Sunday, we got up and did our house stuff and bunkered in for the heat that was coming. It got up to 93? But damn it was hot. I played some ds and we watched shows. That was about the extent to our weekend. I hope you had a good one, till next time.

Weekend review for 5/28,29,30 - 31/16 and Video game minute.

So obviously from the title, this guy got a four day weekend. I used some time off for Tuesday, but that's okay. We don't earn hours for leave and not use them. I probably will have forgotten most of this weekend so forgive me if I repeat myself. Friday night, we went grocery shopping after work. We got home and we cooked frozen pizza. We watched some shows and we went to bed.

Saturday morning, we got up and it was time to go see X-Men Apocalypse. I normally try to avoid opening weekend for movies, but I had to see it. We got to the theater and we sat down for the ride. I really liked the movie, but I didn't love it. Apocalypse, is one of my most favorite characters of all time. Now that's being said, I could not get passed Oscar Isaac playing him. I saw more of Oscar then I did of Apocalypse. Now another thing that pissed me off was, why were the characters young!?!? The end of Days Of Future Past, they were all grown and normal. Third, Wolverine is almost my top character, so anything to do with him, I want to watch. So Wolverine is kidnapped? Taken to Canada and made part of the weapon X project. The last part is true, but what happened with the first part? After the movie we went to the jewelry store to have Melissa's ring checked. We heard a couple stories about diamonds being swapped for fake ones. Well they were closed so headed to bingo. We didn't win, but we had fun. After bingo we stopped at McDonald's for dinner and we went home. Saturday night we watched some shows and relaxed.

Sunday was our other Saturday, so we got to relax and we barbecued for dinner. We had hot dogs, burgers, corn on the cob, potato salad, baked beans and some peppers for dipping. It was good, but not my best burgers. I'm always rusty for the first time in the season. Oh well that just means I'll have to keep practicing. Sunday night we watched some shows and went to bed.

Monday was our Sunday, we had to do our house work and I had to now the lawn. We watched some shows and we relaxed. We had leftovers for dinner and we watched some more shows. We headed to bed.

Tuesday, Melissa had her doctors appointment. I got up and made some coffee and I watched Howls Moving Castle. I had never seen it before and it wasn't bad. Melissa came home and it was time for my appointment. We went to the jeweler to get Melissa's ring checked out. Her ring turned out to be all good and what we paid for. Off to the doctor I had to get my blood drawn and it wasn't too bad. After the doctor we came home and watched some shows. We made dinner and we headed to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

Over the weekend, I played Rise Of The Tomb Raider and I finished the story. So I was sitting at 67% for awhile and after I finished the story I was at 70%. So now I'm at three games finished for the 10 games for summer. Melissa and I played Captain Toads Treasure Tracker and we both came to the agreement that Mr. Toad will not be completed for summer and will removed from the list. We both were struggling playing it and we were having a brain fart over this game. So let's recap:

 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 4/24/16.
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider 5/21/16
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker ❌
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal ❌
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City

Looking at this list, holy shit I don't think I can finish it. Heavy Rain is hard as fuck anyways, GTA 3 has been kicking my ass and The Last Of Us is hard as fuck too. So I have no clue what games I'm going to keep or add to this list. I played some Last Of Us and I don't know how many times I died, but I got to a point with some asshole boss in the gym who throws skin bombs at you and I said fuck it and turned it off. Literally paused the game and turned it off. Video game rage is a real thing and admitting there is a parables is the first step. Ha ha, I'm still at a loss of what games to add to the list. I was thinking maybe Lego Avengers, but if I say fuck The Last Of Us, what else would I pick? The Nook and Ouya games are probably out as well. Writing this out is kind of depressing, so what, now I'm going to have "5" games for summer, but only easy ones!? Ha ha. I'll have to figure it out, till next time.

Weekend review for 5/21 - 22/16.

Friday night, we went to our friends house for their birthday dinner. They made chicken enchiladas and it was amazing. After dinner, we played a new game called What's Yours Like? it was actually pretty fun. You have a word like toaster, then one person has get clues from everyone like mine is shiny. It was interesting. After the festivities, we headed home. We got home and we watched some shows and went to bed.

Saturday, we got up, had some coffee and I went to go rent Homefront Revolution from Redbox and I got us a now late breakfast, but actually lunch cause traffic was so bad. I got home and we after our lunch. After lunch I popped in Homefront. After we played games for a little bit, we watched some shows. Before we knew it, it was time for dinner. Our day flew by so fast, we hated that. We watched some more shows and we headed upstairs to stream a movie. After the movie, it was time for bed.

Sunday, we had our normal chores to do and I had to take the game back to Redbox and vacuum out the work truck and our new truck. After that, I came inside and tried playing some Last Of Us. Damn, that shit is hard. Melissa made an amazing dinner. So we had dinner and we watched some shows. After a little bit, we went upstairs and we watched the Fear The Walking Dead mid-season finale. Man I was disappointed. No spoilers, but damn, who chose this to happen? Who chose for what character did what? I was struggling to maintain interest when they were on the boat then the compound got better, but now this. Hopefully, the season can pick up after the break. Till next time.

Video game minute.

Over the weekend, I got to play Rise Of The Tomb Raider and I was still only 67%, damn. This 10 games for summer is going to be a lot harder then I thought. To recap here is my list:

 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 finished 4/24/16.
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal ❌
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City

So I took off Far Cry Primal cause it would have taken the whole summer to finish. So one game at a time is the plan, but then I saw that Homefront The Revolution is at Redbox. So I need to play this game cause it looks amazing and I was thinking about buying it anyways. I rented a couple games before from Redbox and it saved me $120 plus cause the games ended up being horrible. Thinking back now, I'm going to have to buy Duke Nukem ?? for my collection. I have no rhyme or reason to it, but I know what franchises I like. I might have to by the new Doom too. The trailer for Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare looks really good and it comes out November 4th. The funny thing was I told Melissa that I wanted one of these games to do like a world war 1 game and it happened! Battlefield 1 comes out October 18th 2016. How cool will that be with modern graphics and gameplay. I told Melissa I'm so excited to get new games. We also have to start working on Captain Toads Treasure Tracker and Lego Jurassic Park. I also have been thinking about trying the Wii U pro controller on my Nook, that would be pretty cool if it worked. So much to do and so little time to do it. Till next time.

Monday, May 16, 2016

Weekend review for 5/14 - 15/16.

So on Wednesday, I had to go on a three day training course for work. It was really stressful and physically demanding. So Friday, after the training, it was time to recover and relax. Melissa and I took the new truck and drove to mc ds for some dinner. We're both still getting used to it and driving it. It is pretty cool that I can fit so well in it. I actually had to move the seat forward. We get home, have some food and we watched some shows. We headed upstairs and it was time for bed.

Saturday, we woke up and we had to run some errands. We got going and we hit Walmart first, after that, we went to get an oil change on the new truck. We were nervous on what they would find. It needed the fuel system cleaner and full synthetic oil. That added about $40 to the oil change total we used to pay, damn. We knew there would be differences in the gas amount and stuff, but were still getting used to it. After the oil change, we went to Costco. After Costco we went to Target and we got some Starbucks. We headed home and got some gas then we got Mod for lunch. After that we went home and we got to relax. I played Rise Of The Tomb Raider.  We popped in Deadpool and the hilarity insued. After Deadpool, we had some dinner, watched some shows and then we went to bed.

Sunday, we had our house stuff to do. We had to vote and we watched some shows. We made an Amazon order for a new smoke detector, so I can see what's going on with all that. Sunday night, we watched Fear The Walking Dead and we went to bed. That's why I got for now, till next time.

Monday, May 9, 2016

Weekend review for 5/7 - 8/16.

Friday night, Melissa made biscuits and gravy for dinner. We had the amazing food and we watched a few shows and we went to bed. We both were just so exhausted from the week.

Saturday, we got up and we ran a few errands before heading over to Melissa's moms house for Mother's Day. We got some kfc for our lunch and we rented The 5th Wave. We had already seen the movie at the theater, but her mom likes science fiction movies. So we had our amazing lunch and then it was time to watch the movie. I hate the DVD player she had and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. So guess what time this was? That's right, it didn't work. I took it apart and tried cleaning the laser and that didn't work. We tried streaming a movie, but her wifi was acting up and we could barley even go on Instagram on our phones. So I said hey, why don't we go buy a new player. I was going to bring one that we had at our house, but I forgot it. So we all headed to Walmart and I found a Sony for $30. Which is a super good deal. So we finally got to watch the movie. After the movie, it was time to head home. We stopped at Dicks  for some burgers. We got on the freeway and down near our exit, they're still working on the freeway so we were in some stop and go traffic. We ate our burgers in the car and no fucks were given. We hate people that eat in their car, but we had to join the ranks. We got home and we watched some shows and went to bed.

Sunday, we got up and knowing what I do now, we should have stayed in bed. Very long story short, all of my smoke detectors were flipping my out in one way or another and I changed all the batteries, but three of them still won't work. So I'm thinking that the detectors are going bad, so that's more money we have to spend on top of all the batteries that cost $30 on. So at least I have some working detectors and only have to replace three of them. I also had to change a part in Melissa's car. Her temperature sensor went bad. Very long story short, I had to buy a socket cause I didn't have one that fit, but I had to driver her car to get it. I had to wait till it cooled down to work on it. I dropped some tools and the check engine light wouldn't turn off until two times of disconnecting the battery. Basically, I was doing this all day and ended at 8:30 at night. We had an amazing dinner, watched some shows then went to bed. I was glad the day was over. Till next time.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, I played rise of the tomb raider. I finally got to 67%. I feel like this is going to take a long time to complete. I am trying to focus on one game at a time, but I have finished two games off of my 10 games for summer list. I still have a lot of summer to go to try and finish this list. So Call Of Duty is releasing a new game in November called, Infinite Warfare. So I did some research and there's one pack that costs $120 or so, it come with Infinite Warfare, Modern Warfare 1, a steel book case and dlc. Another set is $80 and it comes with Infinite and Modern Warfare 1. The other set is $60 is just Infinite Warfare. I was kinda hoping that Modern Warfare, would have been free, but most remastered games are $20, so it makes sense. I never played Modern Warfare 1 so this would be awesome to get. I bet the controls are going to be crazy. They have fine tuned the controls for the faster paced modern games. It sounds and looks like it's going to continue going all sorts of futuristic. Space travel, space battles and all that. I will definitely be purchasing this when it comes out though. I'm still waiting for news on Battlefield too. There's only a few games that will be guaranteed purchase for me. And now I have to factor in buying Live again too. There's a lot that goes into gaming now days. Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 4/30 - 5/1/16.

So Friday after work, traffic was absolutely horrible. It took me two hours to get home and it could normally take between 35 and 45 minutes. So after I finally got home, we made some pizza and we watched some shows. I started feeling like shit too. We went to bed a little early so we could get some sleep.

Saturday, we woke up and we had to get a lot done because Sunday, Melissa had her was to do and we had our nieces birthday party to do. We cleaned the house, I mowed the lawn, did the laundry and I set up our ac for the living room. I played some Rise Of The Tomb Raider. We watched some shows and Melissa went to bed early because she had her brain cancer walk to do in Seattle. I played some more Tomb Raider then a show and went to bed.

Sunday, I woke up and had some coffee. I had a few things to get ready for the party. Melissa came home and picked me up. We got to the party and started setting up. I was setting up the tables and chairs. The party started and we were all talking and hanging out. After the party, we cleaned up the room and put away the chairs and tables. We ran up to Walgreens to pick up some stuff. We got home and relaxed. I played some more Tomb Raider. We watched some shows we had some dinner and we went upstairs and we watched Fear The Walking Dead. I'm wondering how the season will play out. It took a weird direction with picking up Strainds boyfriends bodyguard or whatever. That was crazy. Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Wednesday, April 27, 2016

Video game minute.

Sunday, I got to play some games and I played Call Of Duty Black Ops 3. I finally finished it. So now I have two games down for the 10 games of summer.

10 games for summer 2016
 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 4/24/16.
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal ❌
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City

So I'm removing Far Cry Primal and hopefully I'm actually going to complete this list this year. After I finished Black Ops, I popped in Grand Theft Auto 3 and completed a few missions. Damn, I either really suck, or this game has gotten harder. I had to redo so many missions cause I was dying too much. Even Melissa was like damn Ben. I said no shit. It was horrible. It's not like I have never played this game or these missions before. I forgot the controls and everything so these GTAs are going to be tough to complete for the 10 games for summer, but I guess that's the point? I was kinda thinking that I should have popped in Rise Of The Tomb Raider, instead of GTA, but oh well.

I have been reading a lot more reviews of the Raspberry Pi 3 and it looks like people are playing PS1 games with no problems on it. That's super cool. I still need to work on my Raspberry Pi. Mine should be able to run all the ROMs I have up until stopping with SNES and Sega. I like to stay updated with Retropie and all the new improved updates all the people put out. So they are up to Retropie 3.7! Damn, that's amazing. So this morning I downloaded it. I still haven't even played around with 3.3. The RPI 3, has Bluetooth built in and wifi built in so no more extra dongles hanging off. I would love to hook up the Wii U Pro controller to it. I just need more time to do all of this stuff.  I would need to get a RPI 3 to play my PS1 and N64 games. I still need to move my ROMs and game saves over from my Nook to my Ouya then maybe I could put one of those games on the summer list. Or I could even play them on my Nook still. Either way, it would be fun. I really have to think about doing that.  It was so cool when I completed The Legend Of Zelda, Minnish Cap and all of that. Well looking back, I actually finished those games before I started the 10 games for summer list. Oh well, I'll work with what I got.

Not about video games, but I really want to do a Raspberry Pi media server. I want to get a external hard drive and be able to watch whatever I wanted with it always on and not use a lot a power. So I was thinking that the RPI 3 (side note, I have no clue if RPI is even acceptable as an abbreviation.) because it has more power. Well that's all my ramblings I have for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 4/23 - 24/16.

Friday afternoon, I had to go get my third shot for work. I was not in the mood for anything so when I got home we had some dinner and Melissa went to bed early because she had her walk to do the next day. I stayed up and watched some shows. After awhile, I was tired and I went to bed.

Saturday morning, Melissa got up and went to her walk. Feeing like crap, I slept in a little bit. I woke up and started binging The Magicians I had saved up on the dvr. Melissa ended up doing 4.5 miles instead of 3 because of them not setting up anything to let the walkers know what was what. I told Melissa, I hope someone complains because there should have been marked places on the trail. Melissa got home and we relaxed. I kept watching some shows and Melissa played some games. We had to go over to our friends house to drop off her present then we got our dinner from Ajs and we went home. We watched some more shows then we headed upstairs. We watched some shows and went to bed.

Sunday, we had our house stuff to do. I got some game time in and then we watched more shows. We made permasian chicken for dinner and it was amazing. After dinner, we watched some shows, headed upstairs and then we watched Fear The Walking Dead. One of the grossest parts was when he had to pull out the body gunk from the filter system! Ha ha, the hand is popping out and blood gunk, damn. Till next time.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, I got to play some Rise Of The Tomb Raider and I was only 34%. What the hell, I've been playing forever. I am trying to focus a couple hours each time I play to complete the 10 games for summer. I also played some Far Cry Primal. It did some update and said that my save game might not save correctly and I would have to start over. I am 7% and kicking ass. (Sarcasm doesn't type right.) I really didn't want to start over so I played and it seemed like
It doing okay. Also my Xbox One did this weird thing where it froze, the controller wouldn't connect, I couldn't reconnect it and the screen went blank. What the fuck. I looked it up real quick and it said to restart your Xbox and it should work. Well it did, but what the fuck.

So on the 10 games for summer list, I had Far Cry Primal, but after seeing I was only 7%, there's no way I can finish it. So I will be removing it from the list. So the list so far:

10 games for summer 2016
 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops 3
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City

I might come up with more later depending on how finishing a couple games go. So I saw on PSN this morning that they were having a GTA sale again and this time it was 60% off. I checked it out and I'm glad I got my digital games when I did. These were going for $11 plus and $6 plus. I got mine for like $3 a piece. And I think I talked about it before, but I got both my physical copies of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for the PS3 and Xbox 360. I would buy Vice City, Grand Theft Auto 3, Liberty City Stories and all that on disc if I could. It's weird how people, myself included, want to collect all of this stuff. How does the whole collection of Zelda or GTA do anything for anyone? So that means you have a collection, but then what? Like Melissa and I have talked about how cool it would be to collect our old consoles and just our favorite games for them. Nothing spectacular, but like she likes some NES game I love some of them and SNES too, but where are we going to put all these consoles and all the cartridges? The Raspberry Pi helps a lot with that, but the legality of the ROMs or emulators for like my Ouya, but is it the same? Also it's hard enough to find time to play a game, let alone play one together, but then be like, let me go get this console box and cartridge. That was just something I was thinking about. That's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 4/16 - 17/16.

Friday night, Melissa brought home Taco Bell for dinner. We ate dinner and watched some shows.

Saturday, we had to wake up a little earlier than normal because we had an eye appointment to go to. We got ready and we took off. We got to the eye appointment and the air poof and the pictures fucked me up. The picture made my eye so blurry and they had to do it twice for the left eye. Then they're like okay read this. I said my eye is still blurry from the picture. They let me re-read the line and who has two thumbs up and has 20/20!? This guy right here! After the eye appointment, we headed down to Frost for some over priced delicious donuts.

We stopped by one of my sites and brought one of the receptionists a donut because they were supposed to be by themselves, but there was a trainee there. After that we went to Fred Meyers for some work boots. We headed to Mod for some lunch.

I made a delicious meat trio with a Hawaiian twist. Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, olives and pineapple. It was so damn good. After lunch, we hit Walmart and then finally home. I had to mow the lawn and all that. I should have charged the mower the night before, but I didn't and it died. So I had to plug it in for a little bit and I power edged and weed whacked then I finished the back yard. Later on I found out I forgot to the strip near the sidewalk and street, whatever. I got to play some Tomb Raider and then we watched some shows. Saturday night, we had some dinner and then we streamed some shows.

Sunday, we slept in a little bit and we did some chores. I had to fix that strip of grass I forgot and then I got to play some Far Cry Primal. I'm only like 8% complete   Damn. That's not very good. We watched some more shows and then we made breakfast burritos for dinner. We had egg, sausage and peppers. We watched Fear The Walking Dead and we went to bed. I really like this show, but it's kinda slow. I'm hoping it picks up, it does show a lot of zombies and that's the bottom line. That was a reference and I hope you got it. Ha ha, till next time.

Video game minute.

So over the weekend, I played some Rise Of The Tomb Raider. I figured out the 10 games for summer and I figured that I need to focus the time I do get to play games to one game at a time, instead of trying to fit in like five games. So that's my plan so maybe like this weekend I'll play Far Cry Primal. So we went and ran a few errands and I got some new World Of Nintendo figures and I finally took a picture. So without further ado:

I still want to get a shy guy and I want to get some more Attack On Titan, but they're $5 or so a piece and it's a mystery pack. You don't know what you're going to get. I just want a colossal Titan then I can be done. I think that's about it for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 4/9 - 10/16.

Friday night, Melissa got some Chinese for dinner and we watched some shows.

Saturday, we woke up and we ran a couple errands. We went to jc penny's, Toys R Us, Hobby Lobby and to pick up my car. We went to the mall and Melissa saw this we buy your stuff store. I went in to check it out and everything seemed like legit stolen and dirty as shit. I saw some slim PS3s and they were so full of junk it was disgusting. We had a Jimmy Johns date and it was amazing. After lunch, we went to Hobby Lobby and then got my car. After sitting in traffic for a while, we got home and we got to relax. I played some Rise Of The Tomb Raider while Melissa played the ds. Saturday night, I made some pizzas for dinner and we watched some shows and went to bed.

Sunday, we got up and we started doing some house chores. Our neice came over for the day and we headed out to McDonald's for lunch date. We headed back to the house and we tried to watch Horton Hears A Who and played for a little bit. We watched some shows and then we had dinner. We watched a little bit of the Mtv movie awards and then we headed upstairs to watch Fear The Walking Dead and went to bed. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

It's time for the video game update. So Friday night, I got to play some video games. I popped in Tomb Raider so I could pass a section I was stuck on. Sunday, we got more game time and I have officially finished Tomb Raider. I got 70% complete, cause they want you to go back and replay all the levels. After finishing Tomb Raider I popped in Call Of Duty Black Ops. I had t played in a long time. I knew I was close to finishing, but I couldn't. There was just so much I had to replay. There's still a lot of glitches. I normally run and gun, but this time, I was like no I'm gonna do this like normal. I kept repeating itself until I just ran past a section. I did that like at least 10 times ha ha, whatever.

The 10 games for summer list in working on is going to include Tomb Raider even though I finished it. So I'm thinking:
1 Tomb Raider finished 4/3/16.
2 Call Of Duty Black Ops
3 Rise Of The Tomb Raider
4 Grand Theft Auto 3
5 Lego Jurassic Park
6 The Last Of Us
7 Army Of Two The Devils Cartel
8 Captain Toad Treasure Tracker
9 Heavy Rain
10 Fry Cry Primal
11 Grand Theft Auto Stories From Liberty City

I added a couple extra in there cause Far Cry is long and might not be able to be finished by the end of summer. Well that's what ingot for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 4/2 - 3/16.

Friday night, Melissa got the new deep dish stuff crust pizza from Little Ceasars. I made some garlic cheese sticks and dinner was on. It was actually pretty good. We got some game time in, Melissa played some ds and I played some Tomb Raider. After gaming, we headed upstairs and we went to sleep.

Saturday, we got up and got ready to go. Melissa had bought our tickets for Superman V Batman Dawn Of Justice. We got to the theater and I got a Starbucks coffee, cinnamon bites and a soda. We scanned our tickets and the anticipation was growing. They showed an expanded trailer for X-Men Apocalypse, oh my god does it look even better. While I almost shed a tear, I came to the realization that, I just need to watch these movies and stop worrying about who's playing who and just watch my favorite characters on the big screen. Would I never want to see Apocalypse, or just let it be? I'll let it be and watch Apocalypse. So the movie was really good, but I didn't absolutely love it. It harder a darker tone to it. Everyone seemed to be broken and not very happy. Given the situation, I did understand why people were gloomy. But overall I think it was a really good movie. After the movie we both were starving so we went to lunch at McDonald's. After lunch, we headed home and relaxed for a little bit. I mowed the lawn then we watched some shows, had leftovers for dinner and then we went to bed.

Sunday, we had our normal house stuff to do. I got to play some games for quite a few hours. We made stuffed peppers for dinner and we watched some shows. I hoped you had a good weekend, till next time.

Video game minute.

On the weekend review, I told you about getting to go to GameStop to pick up some games. I got Grand Theft Auto V for Xbox One, Rise Of The Tomb Raider for Xbox One and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas for PS3. I told you before that I want to get San Andreas for both the 360 and PS3 so one version down. And I'm also going to have to get Grand Theft Auto V for PS3 and PS4. Speaking on getting the same copies, I'm going to have to get The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past for SNES and GBA. I love digital games, but I'm still stuck on having physical copies of games. And I need to get all the games I want for my collection. So even though I bought San Andreas digital, I need the physical copy too. I wish I could get Stories From Liberty City, or Vice City Stories on disc for the PS3. So Tomb Raider, was a lot of fun. What annoys me about new gen consoles is having to install each disc to the console. Now I am used to that for like Battlefield, GTA and COD, but damn. And this whole you can start now when it's half way loaded. I started loading Tomb Raider and it said it could start so I started playing and it wouldn't play past a certain point because it wasn't finished loading. The hard drive for the One is over half way full already. I'll have to look into the portable hard drives they have and what they do to help. I played the first episode of GTA V and all the controls are different from the 360. Switching people was so difficult and I started recording when I didn't want to. I'll have to figure all that out. I got good deals on the games and I am very happy with that. I still need to figure out the ten games for summer. I have to pick a game and finish it. Or at least dedicate my game time to one game at a time.

I read an article about a new Attack On Titans video game. It released in Japan first, but it supposed to come out in the u.s. soon. Anyways it looks amazing, you have to use your supplies wisely and you only get so many blades and gas. You hack and slash their legs, arms and then their neck. If you hit certain spots you get extra xp. There's a cool game for the ds, but Japan only and you would need a Japan spec ds in order to play it. This would be the times that I wish I knew Japanese. Well that's what I got for now, till next time.

Weekend review for 3/26 - 27/16.

Friday night, we rented Daddy's Home with Will Ferrel and Mark Wahlberg. It was okay and had some funny parts, but the best part was with John Cena.

Saturday morning, we got up, got ready and we headed out for a shopping date at Target for Melissa's birthday weekend. We got some Starbucks and started shopping. Melissa, found some stuff she's been wanting and we had some fun. After Target, we headed to GameStop so I could grab a few games I've been wanting. How nice of Melissa to have me join the festivities and let me get some games. I guess I need to start taking pics of the haul I get. After GameStop, we went to Hop Jacks for lunch. Our friends met us there and we got some pretty good food. I would actually go back. After lunch, we all headed to the movie theater to was Allegiant. The movie wasn't too bad, but I don't know what I was expecting. They broke the last movie in to two parts. After the movie, we headed to Dairy Queen for an ice cream cake and Albertsons for some dinner for later.

I got some game time in and I played Rise of the Tomb Raider. It was actually really good. They did change some things, but I liked it. Our friends came over to hang out for a little bit. After our friends left, we had our dinner and headed upstairs for bed.

Sunday was Melissa's actual birthday so I told her that I would do all of the chores so she didn't have to. After the chores I got some more game time. I was trying to play Grand Theft Auto V and the install was taking forever. I played some more Tomb Raider and then watched some shows. We made a really good dinner and watched some more shows. I hope you had a good weekend, till next time.
